RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen. Asim Munir has invited the Pakistan Cricket Team for an Iftar dinner on April 07 in Rawalpindi.
29-member Pakistani squad is currently taking part in a special fitness camp in Kakul, Abbottabad ahead of the T20 home series against New Zealand. Players underwent training and gym exercises at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) under the guidance of experienced trainers and coaches to elevate their fitness levels, agility, leadership, strategic thinking, and overall performance on the field.
Sources suggested that the fitness camp could be wrapped up one day earlier than the initial end date of April 8. On April 7, the players will leave Abbottabad and make their way to Rawalpindi for the Iftar meal. After that players will return to their homes ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
