ISLAMABAD: A modern property management system will be introduced by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to computerize the property records of the citizens of Islamabad.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to digitize the functioning of all offices of the CDA.
According to the details, an e-office will be established as per the agreement between CDA and PITB.
A CDA official said that to ensure transparency in all information related to property, record tampering, including loss of records or leakage of records, can be avoided, and land or property records can also be protected in a modern way. can be done. “Also, the move aims to empower the CDA by equipping it with modern tools and technology in the realm of’smart governance’,” the official said.
