ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has disbursed over Rs. 77 billion among more than 73,00,000 beneficiaries from across the country under the Benazir Kafaalat scheme.
Benazir Kafaalat scheme’s quarterly tranche (Jan-March) of Rs. 10,500 is being disbursed in the country smoothly.
“As of April 3 at 4:00 pm, more than 73,00,000 Benazir Kafaalat program beneficiaries—or 79 percent of all beneficiaries—have received almost Rs. 77 billion in disbursements,” an official source disclosed.
Balochistan, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan are among the regions where the payment procedure is ongoing concurrently to distribute the enhanced payment of Rs. 10,500 per household to more than nine million deserving families.
It is recommended that recipients obtain all of their payments from an agent or representative of the closest designated bank and get in touch with the nearest Tehsil office or the toll-free number 080026477.
In addition to Benazir Kafaalat stipend payments, education stipends are being distributed nationwide. According to the official source, beneficiaries are also receiving the special Ramzan grant in some places.

To rapidly handle beneficiary complaints, the BISP headquarters has launched a separate control room. Alternatively, recipients can reach them via WhatsApp at 03018472836/03028240958 (Sindh), 0318472831 (South Punjab-I), 03175370095 (South Punjab-II), 03028240972 (Central Punjab), 03028240977 (North Punjab), 03185761507 (Balochistan), 03175370081 (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), and 03155213394 (Azad Jammu and Kashmir).
Only 8171 is used to send communications from the Benazir Income Support Program; messages from any other number should not be believed.
BISP staff have been instructed to ensure that the ladies seamlessly receive their Kafaalat payments, deducting nothing from the process.
Staff members have been assigned to oversee the payment disbursement process and promptly take action against the agents who are being deducted from the beneficiary’s payments.
