ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister for science and technology Fawad Chaudhry was released from Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi late Friday night.
Hiba Chaudhry, wife of the former leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), verified her husband’s release in a post on X, (Twitter), along with a photo.

A division bench of the Islamabad High Court comprising Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri granted bail to Fawad Chaudhry on April 1 in a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) case concerning land in Jhelum.
During the case hearing, Qaiser Imam, the attorney representing Fawad Chaudhry, appeared before the court.
It is important to remember that Fawad Chaudhry was placed under judicial detention at Adiala jail in connection with a NAB-filed Jhelum property case.
