ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted a new spell of rainfall in Islamabad and different parts of the country, mostly upper areas, from tomorrow (Wednesday) to April 29.
On April 24th, at night, a westerly wave is predicted to penetrate the western portion of the nation and is likely to engulf most upper regions on April 26th. Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Pakpattan, and Sahiwal are all expected to experience rain, wind, and thunderstorm (with a few moderate to heavy falls) on the 26th and 29th (morning).

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of the country on 24th April (night).

Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while hot in southern parts. However, rain-wind/thunderstorms is likely at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and adjoining hilly areas.

Wednesday
Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while hot in southern parts. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely in western/southwestern Balochistan.
