DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ismail Khan District on the reported presence of terrorists on April 18, ISPR said in a statement.
According to the military’s media wing, during the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between security forces troops and terrorists. As a result two terrorists, Faheem Nawaz aka Gandapuri and Mohsin Nawaz, were successfully neutralised.

“Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the Security Forces as well as innocent civilians including target killings and extortion,” it added.
Furthermore, ISPR said that sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
