ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister, has announced plans to give a virtual speech to his party’s supporters next week.
Khan reportedly told reporters inside the courtroom, “Next week, one of my speeches will appear on social media. This is the era of artificial intelligence.

“I own the article that appeared in the British publication [The Economist]. I didn’t submit the article in writing. When questioned about the article attributed to him in a British publication, he stated that he had dictated it verbally.
“They are conducting an inquiry against him in connection with May 9 violence, which is a conspiracy against us.”
He questioned who had stolen the CCTV footage of his arrest from the Islamabad High Court (IHC), adding that if those responsible were found, everything would be clear.

He stated that elections must be held at any cost. Elections are necessary for the country’s economy and political stability, he said, adding that “it has been made difficult for us to contest the elections, but elections must be held on time.”
