ISLAMABAD – Cambridge International Education (CIE) has launched an investigation into the online leak of the A-Level Mathematics paper ahead of the exam day.
The development comes after social media users claimed that A-Level Mathematics 9709 Paper 12 was leaked online ahead of the exam on May 2, 2024.
Students and their parents also expressed concern over the reports, saying they would harm the transparency and integrity of examinations. He also demanded an investigation into the matter.
Taking note of parents’ concerns, the CIE released a statement, which said: “We are looking into the concerns of a possible paper leak for AS Level Mathematics 9709 Paper 12 on May 2, 2024.”.
It added that the matter is being investigated and that Cambridge and the British Council are in close contact.

Meanwhile, the students appearing in the mathematics paper are demanding the authorities re-conduct the exam to ensure transparency in the evaluation.
They also asked the CED to take strict measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
