ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) has approved the establishment of at least six cattle markets in the capital for Eid-ul-Adha 2024.
As per the details, in this regard, three major markets will be located at Sangjani, I-15 and I-12.
While the three other small markets will be set up on Islamabad Expressway, Bara Kahu and Sultana Foundation. These markets will run from 1st to 13th Zil Hajj and will be charged Rs 100. 500 for large animals and Rs. 250 for small animals.
Islamabad Cattle Markets for Eid-ul-Adha 2024
For the sale of animals, a few weeks before Eid-ul-Adha, special markets called Bakra Mandi are set up in various cities including the capital Islamabad. Goat markets are crowded with people coming to buy animals for sacrifice.
