The Azad Kashmir government has decided to suspend cellular and internet services for two days, sources said late Sunday.
According to the sources, after the negotiations between the Joint People’s Action Committee and the Azad Kashmir government failed, the convoy of protesters left for the capital Muzaffarabad.

According to sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz summoned a meeting on Monday (today) to discuss the situation in AJK.

The insiders said that the meeting will be attended by the premier of AJK and all relevant parties.
According to the sources, the conference would also include the ministers for food security, energy, and Kashmir issues.
For the previous three days, protests against rising power tariffs, rising flour prices, and elite privileges have persisted in AJK.
Numerous people were hurt and one police officer died over the two days of fighting between the police and protestors, according to reports.
More than 150 protesters were detained, according to sources. Rangers were called in on Sunday but sent back after the AJK government opted for negotiations on the third day of protests.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed the need to show restraint and resolve the issue through talks.
