ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to construct two underpasses in the federal capital for the convenience of the citizens of Islamabad.
In this regard, Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi chaired the meeting with the attendance of Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Mohammad Ali Randhawa and NESPAK officials.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said one underpass will be built at Serena Chowk and the other on Srinagar highway making it a signal-free corridor.

During the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi was briefed about the project’s initial design by the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) officials.
The Federal Interior Minister directed concerned authorities to complete the underpasses in minimum time. The preliminary design of the underpasses project had been chalked out, CDA said in a statement.
The Federal Interior Minister directed to maintain the height of the underpass up to full height.
