In preparation for the elections scheduled for February 8, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has released the list of candidates for the 13 Provincial Assembly seats in Peshawar.
Details reveal that Ali Zaman Advocate of the Insaf Lawyers Forum has been given a party ticket to run in the PK-73 seat, while former deputy speaker Mahmood Jan has been given the important PK-72 seat.

Samiuddin, Arbab Jahandad, Malik Shahab, Sher Ali Afridi, and PK-74, PK-75, PK-76, and PK-77 candidates will run for office, accordingly.
Former district nazim Arbab Asim is making a comeback to politics and is running for re-election in PK-78. Taimur Saleem Jhagra, the former minister of finance, has been given a PTI ticket to run in PK-79, Peshawar.
In PK-80 and PK-81, respectively, Hamidul Haque and Noreen Arif give the party’s lineup some diversity and new ideas.
In the elections of 2024, former minister Kamran Bangash and Meena Khan Afridi will run from PK-82 and PK-83, respectively, while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s candidate from PK-84 will be Fazal Elahi.

A list of the 145 political parties’ election emblems was previously supplied by the Election Commission to the returning officers (ROs). The names of many political parties, including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, were not included in the list of electoral emblems.
PPPP (arrow), PML-N (tiger), PTI-Nazriyati (batsman), PTI-Parliamentarians (turban), IPP (eagle), MQM-P (kite), JUI-F (book), BNP-Mengal (axe), Jamaat-i-Islami (scale), and Pakistan Muslim League (tractor) are the major parties that have been assigned emblems.
