ISLAMABAD – Again, between Thursday and Friday night, dense fog engulfed Punjab’s plains, impeding daily activities and causing traffic jams on the motorways.
In some cities, the dense fog has significantly impacted the flow of traffic on the roads. A spokeswoman for Motorway claims that all traffic has been barred from the following routes: M2 from Kot Momin to Pindi Bhattian; M3 from Jaranwala to Darkhana; M4 from Abdul Hakeem to Pindi Bhattian; and M5 from Uch Sharif to Zahir Pir.

The drivers have been urged by the motorway police to travel on Grand Trunk (GT) Road. Additionally, they have advised vehicles to turn on their fog lights and drive gently.

Additionally, the motorway police have asked everyone to stay at home and refrain from making needless trips. Due to poor visibility, dense fog has also caused traffic disruptions at many locations along the province’s National Highway.
