ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will pay a day-long visit to the United Arab Emirates today.
According to the Foreign Office, this would be the Prime Minister’s first visit to the UAE since his election.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising key Ministers of the Cabinet.
The Prime Minister is anticipated to meet Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the United Arab Emirates, during the visit.
The two presidents will talk about the Pakistan-United Arab Emirates bilateral ties, with an emphasis on investment and commerce.

Meetings between Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, and other Emirati dignitaries, businesspeople, and financial institution leaders are also expected.
Long-standing brotherly ties with a strong religious and cultural bond exist between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
The Prime Minister’s visit is a significant step in strengthening Pakistan and the UAE’s bilateral cooperation in a variety of areas.
