LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former provincial minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has been transferred to jail after discharging from Services Hospital Lahore on Sunday.
PTI leader Yasmin Rashid was discharged by the medical board after her health condition improved and shifted to Kot Lakhpat jail where she is imprisoned in a May 9 vandalism case.
According to sources, the former Punjab minister was admitted to the hospital due to stomach and dehydration issues and was discharged after completing her antibiotic course.

Earlier, the PTI leader was shifted to Services Hospital after falling ill in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore. The information emerged on Wednesday, indicating that she is in a critical condition.
Documents from Kot Lakhpat Jail authorities describe Dr. Rashid as a “key prisoner”. She had not eaten since Wednesday morning and was dehydrated due to multiple episodes of vomiting, documents show.
“Yasmin Rashid’s body has been dehydrated due to vomiting,” the report read.
The former provincial minister has been behind bars after being indicted by an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) along with the party colleagues Main Mehmoodur Rasheed and Ejaz Chaudhry in a May 9 vandalism case.
