On Saturday, the Pakistan Army men who accepted martyrdom during a gunfight with terrorists in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on January 10 were buried.
Sepoy Ibrar Hussain, 27, of district Mansehra, and Sepoy Muhammad Afzal, 29, of district Bhimber, Azad Kashmir, were buried with full military honors in their respective places, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR said, “Many soldiers, families of the fallen soldiers, and civilians attended the funeral of the martyred personnel.”
Following a gunfight between security personnel and terrorists on January 10, army troops successfully tracked down the terrorists’ location and neutralized two of them, Aftab alias Malang and Masood Shah.
Both of these people had been linked to the targeted killings of defenseless citizens and had actively participated in a variety of terrorist attacks against law enforcement. From them, weapons, ammo, and explosives were also retrieved.

During the fierce firefight, Sepoy Muhammad Afzal and Sepoy Ibrar Hussain, two courageous troops involved in the operation, battled valiantly but unfortunately accepted martyrdom, according to the ISPR.
It had stated, “Our security forces in Pakistan are committed to eliminating the threat of terrorism, and the heroic sacrifices made by our soldiers only serve to reinforce this determination.”
