DALLAS: Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan has removed all photos and videos from his Instagram account as he is United States of America for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.
Son of legendary cricketer Moeen Khan has either deleted all his posts from his Instagram handle or hidden them prompting speculation that he might have taken this step after receiving recent criticism from the cricket fans over his merit for selection in the T20 World Cup squad.
Middle-order batter Azam Khan faced a recent backlash over his fitness and was slammed by his fans over poor performance in two T20I matches against England where Azam Khan failed to prove his worth as Pakistan lost the series by 2-0.
Azam is one of the most active Pakistani cricketers on social media and frequently uploads posts on Instagram. However, the wicketkeeper has not given any reason for removing his Instagram posts.
1992 Cricket World Cup winner Moin Khan’s son is yet to make a mark in T20I from the national side despite making his international debut three years ago in July 2021. He has appeared in 12 innings for Pakistan but could score only 88 runs at a petty average of 9.7.
