Last week, Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq allowed the journalist to travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
During the hearing, IHC CJ was told that Imran Riaz Khan’s name was placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) at the recommendation of the Federal Investigation Agency.
After hearing arguments, the court granted permission to the petitioner to travel abroad.
