ISLAMABAD: The population of donkeys in Pakistan continues to grow as it has increased from about 100,000 to 5.9 million over the past year, the Economic Survey 2023-24 revealed here on Tuesday.
As per the details, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb unveiled the economic survey of the country, which showed a significant increase in the population of other animals including cows, buffaloes and sheep.
The report shows that there was no change in the population of horses and camels. The total horse population was recorded at 400,000 in the outgoing financial year.
A significant increase was also observed in the population of sheep and goats.
