KARACHI: The Shalimar Express, which was traveling from Karachi to Lahore, almost avoided derailing this Monday morning close to the Badal Nala station.
Thankfully, no passengers were hurt, as stated by a spokesman for Pakistan Railway.Three Shalimar Express train coaches were involved in the incident.
Quick action was done, and a relief train was sent from Karachi’s Cantt Station to help and handle the problem.
Following the accident, the Shalimar Express up-and-down track has been closed.

The Hazara Express traveling from Havelian to Karachi was stopped at Bin Qasim, and the Khyber Mail traveling from Karachi to Peshawar was stopped at Jang Shahi station.
Awami Express, headed for Peshawar from Karachi, was halted at Juma Goth station.
To guarantee that trips along this route remain secure in the future, authorities are looking into what caused the disaster.
