PESHAWAR: On Monday, all primary schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) started normal lessons, marking the end of the province’s extended winter break.
Because of the extreme cold and fog, the government decided to extend the winter break for both public and private elementary schools until January 13.
According to a statement, the current cold weather has forced all private and government primary schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)—from preschool to Class 5—to stay closed till January 13.
For middle/primary, high, and upper secondary schools (Classes 6 and beyond), new schedules were also released.
