ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to improve and renovate buildings in various key markets, including Blue Area, Aabpara Market, G-6, F-6, and other commercial centers in Islamabad, as reported on June 13.
According to the facts, CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa highlighted the importance of presenting a business-friendly incentive package within a week to improve the condition of these structures. He indicated that incentives would be provided to owners of historic structures in conformity with new regulations.
The conference concluded with the determination to take action against structures completed or under construction without CDA clearance after June 30, 2024. Building owners are encouraged to submit for approval of their building plans before the deadline to prevent having their buildings shut. Additionally, the charges for building plan approval will increase after July 1, 2024, and new plans will be approved according to the revised charges.
