KARACHI: A shocking incident has come to light from Gulshan Iqbal area of Karachi where the son of the Deputy Superintendent of Police was caught robbing a pawn shop using a police mobile.
As per the details, the shocking development came as CCTV footage of the incident sparked outrage. The video shows a police mobile pulling up in front of a pawn shop, and two people can be seen getting out of the vehicle. One of them entered the shop.
The men also caught the owner of the Pan shop, and threw him with dire consequences. It was later revealed that the robbery was committed by the son of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
Following the shocking revelation, both the police officer and his son have been arrested and are currently in police custody in Port City. Senior officials of Karachi Police took notice of the incident.
Earlier, the owner of the pan shop lodged an FIR, saying three men in plain clothes robbed his shop. He said that the accused took thousands worth of cash and cigarettes. He also accused them of stealing cash from his pocket and physically assaulting him.
