PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians (PTI-P) leader and member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Iqbal Wazir has been booked for allegedly attacking Awami National Party (ANP) leader Alif Jan near KP Assembly in Peshawar on Sunday.
Police Station Sharqi (East) in Peshawar city have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the PTI-P MPA accusing the lawmaker of attempting to murder.
ANP leader was allegedly assaulted by PTI-P’s MPA Iqbal Wazir along with 10 of his accomplices.
According to the report, ANP’s provincial leader Alif Khan sustained minor injuries and was promptly shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
ANP leader Jan complaint that his car was damaged in collision when he was travelling with two of his children.
Furthermore, two pedestrians were also injured during the incident. Meanwhlie, the police have recovered weapons from PTI-P’s Wazir.
