According to the circular, Bahria Town will decrease the deduction to 10 percent from 30 percent for this month on solar units. On timely collection of power bills, the housing society has announced no power load shedding scheduled so far.
Furthermore, the private housing society said, that due to the timely submission of electricity bills by all its consumers, Bahria Town has submitted electricity bills to IESCO within the stipulated date after which every possibility of force load shedding or grid shutdown by IESCO has gone.
“Bahria Town is constantly in touch with NEPRA and is trying to reduce the Purchase Price Tariff from IESCO so that the consumers of the society also get electricity at IESCO Rates. In this regard, Bahria Town has also filed a case in the High Court and it is hoped that it will be decided soon,” the circular reads.
Moreover, BT Electricity Department has said that this month there has been less inflow of solar units from solar consumers in IESCO’s system than in previous months. Therefore, this month Solar Deduction will be reduced to 10%, giving relief to its consumers.
