ISLAMABAD: The Excise Department will set up a mobile facility at Fatima Jinnah Park in the federal capital on Monday to make essential services more accessible.
A representative for the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration said that this program is a component of ICT Doorstep and that excise workers will be on duty at Bolan Gate Park’s parking lot from 3 to 5 p.m. to help locals with a variety of civic requirements.
Through a specialized van, he explained, locals can visit the park and take advantage of these services.
According to him, the goal of this mobile unit was to make the process of getting fuel permits—whether for personal or business use—simpler and to make motor vehicle registration easier.
The on-ground service would make these processes quick and straightforward. The initiative was designed to streamline vehicle-related procedures such as registration, transfer, and token tax payment, said the official.
