The Punjab government has announced plans to introduce new rules requiring private schools to provide free education to 10% of their students.
According to the information, the Department of Education will audit private schools. Following this, underprivileged and worthy students would be eligible for free education at Punjab’s private schools.
The Ministry of Education will count how many kids attend private schools during the survey, which is scheduled to be finished by August 31 following the summer break.
Through instruction in schools, the Private Schools Ordinance of 2014 will be strengthened.
The administration of the private schools claimed that worthy students had already enrolled in their programs.
