ISLAMABAD: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has laid a new 24-inch diameter gas pipeline along Srinagar Highway in Islamabad to improve gas pressure in the federal capital.
As per the details, the SNGPL spokesperson Shahid Akram said that the length of the newly commissioned pipeline is 11 km, and it was completed in a short span of six months.
This project is one of the largest capacity expansion initiatives undertaken by the Gas Distribution Company in Islamabad.
Shahid Akram hoped that this pipeline would solve the problems of low gas pressure to the residents of Islamabad, especially in winter.
The pipeline will serve as a major source of gas throughout the year, benefiting more than 200,000 customers in the capital.
