ISLAMABAD: The Federal Police have established a thorough three-layer security plan in advance of the upcoming elections in Islamabad to guarantee a safe and orderly polling environment.
Three distinct categories—A, B, and C—have been carefully chosen, and a total of 995 polling places are under constant watch.

Over 450 buildings have been designated as polling places in an initiative to promote a more comprehensive and well-organized electoral process.
Nilore, Chara, Tamir, and Karpa are among the places that fall under category A, which denotes locations that require immediate attention and increased security.
Areas in category B that showed peace in prior elections are also included in the classification.

Based on inputs from the Special Branch, FC members will be sent to important polling places for election security, guaranteeing a focused and adaptable security presence.
The final permission of army deployment rests with the Ministry of Interior, highlighting the concerted efforts to protect the voting process and preserve calm during this significant democratic event.
