ISLAMABAD: Intermittent rain/thundershowers are forecast over Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Thursday night, Friday and Saturday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon waves from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal enter the upper/central parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave will affect the upper parts of the country from tonight.
In these conditions, intermittent rain/wind/thunderstorm is forecast at a few places over Twin Cities and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Punjab, Potohar region, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Northeast Balochistan on Thursday night. .
More intermittent rain/thunderstorm is forecast at a few places over the Twin Cities and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast/Central Punjab, Potohar region, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Northeast Balochistan on Friday and Saturday.
The maximum temperature in Islamabad is expected to be between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius on Friday and between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
Rawalpindi’s maximum temperature is likely to be between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday.
