RAWALPINDI: A man killed his two daughters and injured his wife over a marital dispute in RA Bazar area of Rawalpindi, here on Monday.
As per the details, preliminary investigation revealed that the incident took place due to a marital dispute and the accused also tried to cut his own wrist. The murdered daughters, aged 10 and 4, have been identified as Anusha and Lareeb.
According to the police, the accused also seriously injured his wife with a knife, cutting her vein. Doctors are trying to save his life.
The rescue personnel provided immediate first aid and took the injured woman out alive and shifted her to the hospital. According to the spokesman of Rescue 1122, the bodies of the children will be sent to the hospital after legal proceedings.
A passer-by was also injured in the incident and his neck was cut. The rescue workers gave him immediate first aid and brought him out alive and shifted him to the hospital.
Usman, the accused who killed his daughters, works as a technician in a government agency.
According to the spokesperson of Rawalpindi Police, the accused Usman has been arrested, evidence is being collected from the crime scene. All aspects of the case are being investigated.
