KARACHI: Citizens of Karachi experienced pleasant weather with light rainfall in the morning with expected maximum temperature ranging from 32 to 34 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level ranges up to 75% accompanied by westerly winds blowing at 24 km/h speed. The air quality improved due to continuous rainfall in the city providing relief from recent pollution.
According to details, the city including areas Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karsaz, Chowrangi, Landhi, Murtaza Chowrangi, Saddar, Clifton, Malir, and adjoining areas received rain.
Additionally, Chief Meteorologist Sadar Sarfraz has said that the rainfall is expected to persist until tomorrow, with occasional gaps.
Moreover, he stated that the sea breeze has lowered the overall temperature in Karachi. ” The sea winds could restore by the evening or night tomorrow”, he added.
According to Met Office, a new monsoon spell will enter the country during the first week of August lasting for more than 3 days.
