RIYADH: Saudi Arabia is gearing up to celebrate its 94th National Day, and to mark the occasion, the government has announced a four-day holiday break.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development declared September 22 and 23 (Sunday and Monday) as public holidays, in addition to the regular weekend on September 20 and 21 (Friday and Saturday).
This means that all public, private, and civil service sectors will get a well-deserved break, allowing citizens and residents to participate in the festivities without worrying about work.
The National Day holiday is also a paid holiday for employees in both government and private sectors, as per the Saudi Labor Law.
The Saudi National Day, which falls on September 23, commemorates the unification of the Kingdom. This year’s celebrations promise to be an exciting four-day extravaganza, filled with patriotic events, cultural activities, and community gatherings.
