PESHAWAR: Khyber Medical University (KMU), which oversees the examination process in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, officially declared the results of the MDCAT 2024 exam, held on Sunday.
Out of the 42,329 registered candidates, 41,671 participated in the test across the province, which was conducted at 13 centers across 8 districts, including six in Peshawar.
According to the KMU, 658 candidates remained absent during the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT).
As per the MDCAT 2024 exam result, 21,355 students passed the entrance test for the MBBS programme, while 24,518 candidates were declared eligible for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme.
KMU spokesperson said that 38 candidates scored more than 190 marks, whereas 30% of candidates scored less than 100 marks.
Two students, Mahboob Ali and Qaiser Ali, secured the top position with 194 marks.
