ISLAMABAD: Hot and Humid conditions are expected to continue in the federal capital today. However, the Met Office has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall with light winds starting from September 26, 2024.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 36 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 24 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 43 to 45% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 0 km/h.
The Met Office predicts that the weather in most parts of the country will remain hot and dry except, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Islamabad, Lahore, and Kashmir will likely receive a break from harsh weather with moderate to heavy rainfall from September 26.
Residents are advised to carry water bottles and an umbrella when going out for longer periods to avoid any potential damage from heat waves.
