Three died in firing, traffic incidents in Dera and Tank

Three persons died in separate traffic and firing incidents in Dera Ismail Khan and Tank Districts of DI Khan Division, police and Rescue 1122 officials confirmed on Wednesday.
In the first incident, a man was killed while another got injured when a heavy container hit their motorcycle here in the limits of Paroa police station.
According to police, a container hit a motorcycle near Makkar Drain in the limits of Paroa police station. As a result, one man riding a motorcycle died on the spot while another got injured.
The body and injured were shifted to hospital where the deceased was identified as Haji Ahmad Bakhsh, resident of Mangal Kirri Shamozai.
Meanwhile, the nephew of station house officer (SHO) Shaheed Mureed Akbar (SMA) Police Station shot dead by unknown armed persons in Barakhel village within the limits of Shaheed Mureed Akbar police station in Tank District, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
A police Spokesman said unknown armed persons entered the house of SHO of SMA police station Sami Ullah Khan Barakzai’s brother Hidayat Ullah Khan in Barakhel village within the limits of Shaheed Mureed Akbar police station in Tank District and opened indiscriminate fire.
As a result of firing, Farman Ullah, son of Hidayat Ullah was killed on the spot.
As soon as the incident was reported, police reached the spot and shifted the body to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ), Tank for post-mortem.
Later, the body was handed over to the heirs after an autopsy while police registered a case against the unknown accused and started further investigation.
According to police, the motive behind the incident is still unclear.
Similarly, one person was killed in firing by unknown persons in Tank Main Bazar near Alamgir Hospital, a Rescue 1122 official said on Wednesday.
Rescue 1122 Media Coordinator said that unknown persons shot and killed a person in Tank Main Bazar near Alamgir Hospital.
Upon receiving the information of the incident, the medical team of Rescue 1122 reached the spot and shifted the body to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ), Tank for post-mortem.
The identity of the slain person has not been made public yet.
