ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital have enjoyed moderate to heavy rainfall at night over the last three days providing some relief from the recent intense heat and humidity, however, the day continues with a strong presence of sense making the weather warmer during the day.
The Pakistan Metreological Department predicted a new rainfall spell which started on September 26 and is expected to last until October 1, 2024.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 32 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 22 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 50 to 55% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 18 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is currently up to 1% today.
Moreover, the Met Office predicts that the weather in most parts of the country will remain hot and dry except, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Islamabad, Lahore, and Kashmir will likely receive a break from harsh weather with moderate to heavy rainfall starting from today.
