ISLAMABAD: World renowned Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik has reached in Pakistan and will stay until October 28, here on Monday.
As per the details, upon his arrival at Islamabad Airport, he was received by the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program Rana Mashhood, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Syed Dr Atta-ur-Rehman, Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs Shamsheer Ali Mazari, and others.
Ministry of Religious Affairs spokesperson has said that Dr Zakir Naik will address public gatherings in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, as well as lead and deliver the Friday prayers.
During his stay in Pakistan, he will also meet high-ranking government officials and will participate in public events.
Prime Minister’s Youth Program Chairman has praised Dr Zakir Naik’s scholarly contributions, stating that his Islamic insight fosters trust and conviction.
Dr Zakir Naik was escorted to Islamabad under tight security.
