QUETTA: A bus ran out of control and plunged into a ditch on the Western Bypass in Quetta, killing 7 people and injuring 30, here on Thursday.
According to the police, the bus full of wedding guests was going from Hazara town to Bilili when the tire burst, and it went out of control and fell into the ditch.
According to rescue sources, the deceased include Zeenat, Bibi Zainab, Bibi Safia, Bibi Aliya, Bibi Shazia, Naseebullah and Naqeebullah, while more than 30 people are injured.
According to rescue sources, the injured have been shifted to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital and Trauma Center where they are being provided medical aid. Among the injured are women and children.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed regret over the bus accident on Brewery Bypass and ordered an investigation into the incident.
