PESHAWAR: PTI leader and advisor to KP Chief Minister on Information Barrister Saif has blamed the government for planning violence with PTI protestors in Islamabad today.
PTI leader Saif stated that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz-led government has “prepared Gullu Butts” to attack the supporters of the former ruling party coming to participate in the Islamabad protest.
“They are gearing up for violence against our peaceful protest,” he said, adding that the incumbent govt has become a symbol of oppression and fascism.
He vowed to deal with those engaged in violence with iron fists.
Earlier in a video statement, fireband CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur expressed firm resolve about reaching D-Chowk no matter what; even if he is alone.
“We will reach Islamabad’s D-Chowk at any cost according to the directions of Imran Khan despite violence and barricades erected to stop us,” he said.
As the PTI refuses to postpone it, local authorities have placed around 300 containers on major roads and intersections sealing all entry and exit points of the federal capital. While around 6,000 police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed in and around the city.
