GILGIT BALTISTAN: Secretary Fareed Ahmed of the Department of Higher Technical and Special Education in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) has reaffirmed his commitment to transforming public sector colleges in the region.
Speaking as the chief guest at a seminar organized by Sukkur IBA University at Fatima Jinnah Govt. Degree College Gilgit, Fareed Ahmed emphasized that his department is making every effort to bring about positive change.
The seminar was part of a series conducted by Sukkur IBA University in public sector colleges across GB, aimed at identifying and nurturing talent.
Moreover, a significant opportunity emerged from this collaboration, as Sukkur IBA University announced scholarships for 20 students from GB to pursue a four-year BS program under the “OGDCL-National Talent Hunt Program 2024.” This initiative is expected to foster competition and provide top-notch education, securing a brighter future for these students.
