LAHORE: The residents enjoyed heavy rainfall yesterday night, the provincial capital is likely to receive moderate to heavy rainfall starting today till October 8, 2024, providing some relief from recent humid weather.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 23 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature may go up to 29 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 56%. Whereas, the chances of precipitation are up to 01%(currently).
Moreover, the Met Office predicts that the Islamabad, Lahore, Southern Punjab districts of Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan, Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Lasbella, Panjgur, and Bhakkar are expected to be lashed by rain from 06th to 08th October.
Residents are advised to carry umbrellas and rain gear if going out for longer periods to avoid any potential harm or damage due to rain.
