ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court registrar confirming the retirement of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa, scheduled a full court reference on October 25, Friday, in honor of the outgoing CJP.
In a letter, written to the President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the Registrar’s Office informed the SCBA about the full court reference, scheduled for Oct 25 — when CJP Qazi Faez Isa will retire.
According to the letter, a copy of which is available with Daily Ausaf, the reference will take place at 10:30 am in Court Room No. 1 of the Supreme Court Building.
The full court reference is a customary practice to pay tribute to the outgoing chief justice for his contributions to the judiciary and legal fraternity.
