LAHORE: The Punjab Education Department has issued a notification regarding the school timings for the upcoming winter season, here on Monday.
As per the details, the new schedule will take effect from October 15, 2023, and remain in place until March 31, 2025.
According to the notification, schools will start at 8:45 AM from Monday to Thursday, with classes concluding at 2:45 PM. On Fridays, students will be dismissed early, at 12:45 PM.
Teachers are required to be present at schools from 8:30 AM to 3: 00 PM during the winter months. While students will have weekends off on Saturday and Sunday, teachers will be expected to come to school on Saturday from 9: 00 AM to 12: 00 PM.
