RAWALPINDI: Pakistan and Russian troops have commenced the 7th bilateral Joint Exercise Druzhba-VII in the counter-terrorism domain at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Pabbi, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.
The two-week-long exercise commenced on October 13 with the participation of Light Commando Troops of the Pakistan Army and Russian Military Contingent, the military’s media wing said.
The Commandant National Counter Terrorism Centre graced the opening ceremony of the exercise as a chief guest.
The exercise is aimed at refining professional skills through joint training besides harnessing the historic military-to-military relations among the friendly countries, the statement read. “The participating troops are looking forward to benefiting from mutual expertise and experience.”
