ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced the NADRA Biker Service, a convenient solution for citizens to apply for or update their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) without visiting a NADRA office.
Currently available in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, this service aims to eliminate the hassle of long queues and save time. The initiative is part of NADRA’s efforts to provide accessible and efficient services to the public.
NADRA already offers various online services, including the Pak Identity Portal, which allows citizens to apply for their Smart National Identity Card (SNIC) and have it delivered to their doorstep.
However, the NADRA Biker Service takes it a step further by providing a mobile solution, catering to those who may not have access to or prefer not to use online platforms.
To use the service, citizens can call NADRA at 1777 and speak with a representative. After sharing details about the required service (such as applying for a new CNIC or updating personal information), you can set an appointment. A NADRA biker will visit your home or office to process the application.
The total cost for a new CNIC using the Biker Service is Rs. 1,500, which includes a Rs. 1,000 service fee. Payments can be made either by card or in cash.
Once your CNIC is processed, NADRA will deliver it directly to your doorstep, so you don’t need to visit their office again.
The expansion of this service to other cities is planned, ensuring that more citizens can benefit from this convenient solution. NADRA’s commitment to innovation and public facilitation is evident in its range of services, from identity document processing to financial solutions and pension management.
