KARACHI: The Sindh Bar Council has announced a boycott of the courts in response to the alleged threats made by the prisoner to the provincial law minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjhar.
The Sindh Bar Council says that there will be a strike on Saturday against threats to the provincial Minister of Law and Home Affairs and lawyers across Sindh will boycott the courts.
Lawyers’ organization reported that one of the prisoners, Ismail Dahri, threatened to kill provincial minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjhar, after which the lawyers started protesting.
The Sindh Bar Council said that on our appeal, the lawyers will not appear in City Court, Malir Court and other courts on Saturday.
