ISLAMABAD: A Norway-based political party has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Imran Khan-founded Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf (PTI) on humanitarian grounds, informed sources told Daily Ausaf.
According to the PTI insider, who talked with Daily Ausaf on condition of anonymity, the Norwegian party head will visit Pakistan to meet former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is currently imprisoned in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.
He further said that the political party — whose name wasn’t disclosed yet — will run an international campaign on behalf of the former prime minister and will file a petition in the United Nations court demanding his release.
