MANSEHRA: Tragedy struck early Tuesday morning when a Rawalpindi-bound coaster was involved in a devastating accident near Mansehra, resulting in the loss of four precious lives and leaving two others injured.
According to police officials, the coaster was traveling from Gilgit to Rawalpindi when the driver, succumbing to fatigue, allegedly dozed off at the wheel. This lapse in attention proved catastrophic, causing the vehicle to overturn and claim the lives of four passengers.
Rescue efforts, led by SP Hazara Motorway, are underway to assist those affected by the accident. The injured and deceased have been transported to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital (KTH) in Mansehra for medical attention and identification.
According to rescue officials, the injured are in critical condition and the death toll may increase.
