ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has embarked on a crucial visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the 8th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh.
This two-day conference, slated from October 29-30, themed “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” will delve into global investments aimed at addressing pressing issues such as Artificial Intelligence, robotics, education, energy, space, finance, healthcare, and sustainability, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by key cabinet ministers, underscoring the significance of this visit. During the conference, PM Shehbaz Sharif is expected to hold bilateral talks with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and other senior Saudi officials, FO statement added.
These discussions will focus on strengthening the economic and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, exploring bilateral cooperation in economic, energy, and defense domains.
PM Shehbaz Sharif will also engage with participating leaders and entrepreneurs at the FII conference, providing a platform for networking and potential collaborations.
